In its first printing, ORCAS OF THE GULF was voted one of the best popular science books of 1990 by Library Journal. This book has all the elements of a good read: Drama, and Suspense. Another book is in the works and I for one am looking forward to being swept away into another time and place. They do give you a sample meal plan that you could follow and they give you recipes for good breakfast items (whole grain pancakes, french toast, apple muffins, fruit salad with yogurt dressing), appetizers, snacks and desserts (baked cinnamon apple toast, cinnamon popcorn, deviled eggs, guacamole and peanut butter balls), side dishes (Pico DE gallo, beans and peppers, refried beans, herb roasted potatoes, Italian sweet potato fries and lemon garlic broccoli) and their main dishes (balsamic chicken and rice, basic Daggett sauce, beefy chili, glazed salmon, honey mustard chicken, Italian parmesan eggplant and orange lime shrimp).
