There are so many delicious stories and turn of phrases in this book that you will find yourself either running to YouTube to see the performances he mentions, laughing out loud, reflective, or simply grinning broadly in gratitude.
A word of advice: approach this book like a fine piece of live jazz. So worth reading. I could not put it down and eagerly await other books in the same vein. My commitment to building relationships with the “aliens” (introverts) led me to the new book by Jennifer B. The illustrations are beautifully detailed and vivid, bringing to life a magical world of fantastical creatures from the fairy realm.
For a value buy, I would recommend buying Shirley Barber's Fairy Collection including CD which contains four stories, i.e. I play the piano while the boomwhakers provide bass notes, etc. This book is one of the best. This is a stand-alone novel, but with the work Pogach has put into world building, I would be surprised if he doesn
