He was wounded six times leading up to and including the Tet Offensive of 1968. This resulted in multiple Purple Hearts. Four of the wounds happened in just one day. Yarbrough put together a wonderful and sober minded biography of a brilliant figure deserving of a lot more attention than he's been afforded. Its a very amazing book and its just packed with information about every imported car, even the unpopular ones you forgot about! I highly recommend this if your looking for an older car, or if you know a car buff.
