Dr. James T. Shipman was a long-time physics educator at Ohio University, his alma mater, and was Professor Emeritus until his passing in 2009.
Jerry Wilson received his physics degrees from Ohio University (B.S., Ph.D.) and Union College in Schenectady, New York (M.S.). In addition to co-writing PHYSICS LABORATORY EXPERIMENTS, he is one of the original authors of the first edition of AN INTRODUCTION OF PHYSICAL SCIENCE (published in 1971) and has several other physics textbooks to his credit. Wilson is currently Emeritus Professor of Physics at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Dr. Aaron W. Todd retired from Middle Tennessee State University. He passed away in 2007.

It's too bad we've lost them to the car. Not a bad reference for most users. When we begin comparing different books by an author, we can run into problems. When his wife has an accident and is in a coma, her husband Liam learns the truth of her first marriage to a rock star. This little book attempts to bridge that gap with cute vignettes about aspects of the male's nether regions, from the vagaries of the penis to the embarrassment of hemorrhoids. For example, religion can only make a direct appeal to emotional faith whereas mysticism is limited to the emotional experience of the individual and science is limited to only things that can be measured. Yalom's book is not only a veritable masterpiece, but a tour de force that deals with everything you ever wanted to know about group psychotherapy.
