Seventeen-year-old Giselle has been banished from her home when she becomes pregnant without a husband. Editorial : This book reaffirms your faith in the Lord and tells us that we all need Jesus to save us from our problems. The importance of God in our daily lives and the necessity of prayer is spoken about beautifully throughout the story. Each character's misery is etched out well by the author. The message in the book is that whatever strata of society we belong to, God is there for anyone and everyone, irrespective of where we come from. Dominique Wilkins is a favorite author of mine, so I really enjoyed this.
Stories for a Man's Heart audio was a tremendous blessing as my husband and I took a trip by car. The author presents an exceptionally clear, nuanced description of the ultimate "destination(s)" possible in major world religious traditions. The Teller-Ulam invention.
25. Interesting concept (I love my Greek mythology), but so-so execution. Tia Rosa is her Mother's youngest sister at Millville Nursing Home and after spending time with her Anna heads for the nearest motel before taking the highway to Tulsa. In his book he examines the biblical fundamentals for God as the creator and restorer of life as well as his character. Excellent!!. From the very few specific facts he mentions (Clinton Street, Fulton Street, the church, etc.) most everything in the Brooklyn section of the book took place a few blocks from my family's brownstone on Congress Street, between Court and Clinton, across the street from Saint Paul's Church.
