I enjoyed this book great depth and characters an added bonus the setting being Oklahoma. Fascinating book!
I recommend to anyone who is interested in early Colonial NE history.. John Macmurray (1891-1976) deserves to be much better known. While we must be careful not to think of men above what is written, we can mark those who walk in righteousness and learn important lessons from their examples. I received this wonderfully written book as a graduation present. Passer, M.D. By default, and in view too of his already very considerable international reputation, the content was therefore attributed exclusively to von Neumann, an impression he made no attempt thereafter to correct, the term 'Von Neumann Architecture' being subsequently bestowed on the stored program setup described in the document.
The public distribution of von Neumann's 'Draft' denied Eckert and Mauchly the opportunity to patent their technology. It works well for the piano, guitar and vocalist. I
