What kept me turning the pages the most was the mystery. I kept waiting for it to build and for certain scenes to lead to things but it never happened.

The book had me somewhat confused, like the pages were mixed up or somethingone min Aries is talking on the cell to Case and going in the trap spot where she hears a gun shot (Case had shot someone)thenthe next page shows her leaving the house to make a call only to return to dead bodies and NO Case being there at all.wth is up with that; did they take us back in time to show us what had happened to Macy in the house, but if they had, why did they say Aries was walking down the stairs and heard the shot?
